Un rancho grande de una familia de indígenas en
Talamanca. La estructura era de bambú con hojas de coco, y el techo soportaba hasta 20 años. La familia está vestida con ropa occidental - la tradición de trajes típicos, a diferencia de Guatemala, nunca ha sido fuerte en Costa Rica.
A sizable house belonging to an indigenous family in Talamanca. The building is made of bamboo sticks covered with coconut palm leaf, and a roof like this could last up to twenty years. The family is dressed in western clothes - there has never been a strong tradition of typical clothing among the indigenous people of Cost Rica.
